Villa 31

Villa 31 is a poor neighborhood of immigrants.
The conditions for human development are appalling.

Most of the immigrants are Peruvians (20%), Bolivians(11%) and  Paraguayans (24%) and Europeans (14%)according to a census of the population of the villages .

The majority of these families depend of the informal economy.

After the economic chaos of 1929, many European immigrants settled in this neighborhood.

Its inhabitants have been stigmatized during years for to high levels of insecurity, the implantation of drug trafficking and the lack of basic services.

This place seems forgotten by the government.
